Dr Belinda Siew Luan Khong
Consulting Psychologist, PHD


Dr Khong is a registered practising psychologist and a fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA), and a fellow of the College of Counselling Psychologists of the Australian Psychological Society. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society(APS).  She counsels individuals and families on a range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, stress management, relationships, communication skills, work-life balance and personal growth. Dr Khong also works with families on cultivating mindful parenting skills. She integrates Western and Eastern approaches to psychology and well-being in her practice. Dr Khong also lectures at the Department of Psychology, Macquarie University, Sydney, and was an adjunct fellow at the University (2016-2021).

She gives talks and conducts training workshops/programs and individual sessions on meditation, mindfulness practice and stress management for organisations, professionals and members of the public in Australia and overseas. 

Response to Clinical Psychs gravely concerned over pretenders' standards

The hospital and aged care online edition posted the above mentioned article on their website. The article incorporated a letter written by Dr Judy Hyde, the president of the Australian Clinical Association (ACPA), to the former Federal Health Minister, Tanya Plibersek. The article and letter contained a number of misleading and unfounded allegations made by Dr Hyde regarding the conclusion reached by the NSW Deputy State Coroner, Mr Malcolm MacPherson, in relation to my former client, Charmaine Dragun's suicide in 2007; my status as a member of the Australian Psychological Association (APS), and my practice as a counselling psychologist
